Putting Fingers to Keyboard.....#WQW...Theme...Reflections of 2022

It's another week of  Writer's Quotes Wednesday, hosted by Marsha from Always Write. If you're interested in joining, you can find more about #WQW here.

At the first of the year we are changing to #WQ Wednesday Quotes.

This week we're reflecting on this past year. Since I'm late to the posting party yet again, I'll keep it simple.

My WOTY last year was Unfold(ing). You can find my post about that here. As I look back on the year, I do feel that there were many ways that my life and myself personally did just this, unfold..."became clear, developed". There are still ways I want to pursue this more, but I think that's the beauty of our WOTY...they can be a continuing process from year to year. I've yet to choose my word for 2023.

As far as reflecting on the past year, I found a few quotes that seemed fitting.

My year was filled with much the same as every other year, working, babysitting, trying to keep up with things...it was also filled with a few trips and vacations that were special, we finally moved into the new part of our house. I read more than I have in awhile. I learned some new things. I pondered A LOT of things about myself and life and people around me. I will reflect more on those things on my #Sundaystills post on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to the year ahead and what it holds. I'll leave you with the quotes I found and looking forward to sharing with you all in 2023.

With Joy Unquenchable,
Kirstin

  1. That last one is great! I've been reading Learned Optimism, which talks about a study on helplessness. People that feel helpless are almost always pessimists. You are definitely optimistic. :) I've loved knowing you these past few years and it was great to meet you in person. I'll read more about your reflections on Terri's post Sunday. :)
