Happy Homemaker Monday

It's Happy Homemaker Monday and my internet isn't making me happy. It has been so sluggish the last several days. This morning it will not let me load pictures and I can't wait any longer so I'm just posting without them. Sandra Hosts Happy Homemaker Monday and I love how her categories provoke thought! On my bedside table: Loving our Kids on Purpose by Danny Silk Dream Big by Patricia King On my TV: The Secret Life of Bees The Rosa Parks Story On the menu for tonight: Whatever everyone can dig up since I am hosting a baby shower. On my To Do List: Weed eat and weed kill, laundry, schedule a doctors appointment, take my car in today to get the brakes worked on. New Recipe I tried last week: Breakfast Cookies. They were a hit and healthy too. In the craft basket: Nothing but the girls and I have a few ideas brewing. Looking forward to: Getting my garden planted soon. I'm hopefully going to buy the 30 day shred and begin using that as well as going to the gym with my hubby. We'll see how it goes. I can't say as I'm looking forward to it though like Sandra is (C: Homemaking Tip for this week: If you have candle wax that has dripped onto any surface, use a hot iron and a brown paper sack to re-melt and soak it up. It soaks right up into the paper sack. I've used this on my walls, furniture, carpet. It works like a charm. Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): Again...I've spaced on this one, and our internet has been slow, so I haven't gotten on near as often as I normally would. Favorite photo from last week: Ready for summer! Well, my computer isn't letting me upload pics right now, so maybe later.
