Baby Girl!

Thank you all for praying for this situation with baby A...that's what we'll call her (C: The girls and I went over to grandmas house shortly after arriving home from camp (I'll post on that later with pictures). She is a precious, teeny, tiny baby! I couldn't get too close because I'm fighting a cold (bummer). The girls at this time are not allowed to hold her per the mothers request and the court documents (they are sad about that). Pray that changes in the months to come. For now they will love her from a short distance.
Continue to pray for growth, health, strength and energy. She will get a ton of love, that's for sure.
Well off to do more laundry and decide which pictures to post from camp. There's a lot!

  1. Aw, what a little sweetie! You got some cute shots of her. How sad that her parents aren't able to care for her properly, but at least she has you guys! Praying for that situation!

  2. Ava is such a beautiful girl! She looks like she is such a sweet- mello girl. You all are very blessed to be able to watch over her, love her and teach her...God has a wonderful plans for her, and she is truly blessed! As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a kid! I know I don't know of the situation with her and her parents...I am saddened that at this point she is missing the bonding with her parents. However I feel that God will continue to bless this situation. I admire women/parents who give up their children to give them "better" homes ( that would be so hard, I could never imagine that pain). I actually talked with a gentleman today who is raising his 7 month son on his own (the mother took off)-I just pray for him and his son and all the other children/parents out there in similar situations. Prayers, blessings and our thoughts are with all of you!
What is Ava's middle name? Hopefully the girls can snuggle next to her?
