Taking in Life Around Me: #CFFC...Where/What/When We Listen
A new favorite photo challenge hosted by Dan from No Facilities, called the #CFFC (Cees Fun Foto Challenge). Cee passed away and Dan has decided to carry on the challenge.
This weeks prompt part of a new series called "Where/What/When". This week is where/what/when we listen. What are things we listen to? Music, audiobooks, advice, podcasts, pastors, speakers, sounds of nature...birds, frogs, the wind, rain.We listen to children playing and laughing. Some things bring us peace, some things might cause stress.
Listening to our grandson strum my hubby's guitar on our couch.
The Red Rock Amphitheater is pretty cool. Have you ever been to a concert there? We almost went to one but ended up changing our mind.
It is an amazing venue. It is also cool that people can go, walk around, sit, visit, read, some there were painting as part of an art group. Others were exercising.
We have also hosted two house parties, thanks to our daughters and their love for music. The photo above is Will Matthews and Into the Pacific.
Our youngest daughter is our concert lover. For years before she could drive or go to some concerts without an adult, I was the designated accompaniment for her and her friends. We also used to love the voice. This house concert was put on by Taylor John William. He made it to the semi-finals. He was from Oregon and I believe at the time was living in Portland.
We went to a few Voice Tours and a few independent concerts. This was Joshua Davis who was also on the Voice. I'm glad I got to go to so many concerts with her. She still goes to any concert she's able to.
The wildlife refuge is just one place I love to listen to birds. The red winged blackbird is one of my favorites.
