Taking in Life Around Me.....#Sundaystills

This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.

Our theme this week is groups. A group is defined as a collection of people, animals, or things considered as a single unit or having a unifying relationship. It can be a noun or a verb.

Anyone else always find it hard to choose photos for these prompts, in a good way of course.

Back in February/March while I was photographing the eagles on the river, this "flock"/group of geese flew overhead.

We have a lot of Canadian geese in our area. This flock was at our local wildlife refuge.

We spotted this "herd" of elk while in RMNP in Estes Park, Colorado. What a thrill. I really wished I had my large lens for this but I hadn't purchased it yet and had decided not to rent one (I should have).

Terri always inspires me to have fun with creative liberties, which I did with these little birds waiting for a bite of my mochi donut while in Hawaii. Even just a little tweaking in my Brushstroke app made the photo more fun.

I've never taken a spin class, but I helped my daughter serve coffee for a spin event and this group of "spinners" were having so much fun. The instructors were so encouraging and inspiring, several times I got tears in my eyes.

Twice I've entered this Great Columbia Crossing with my MIL and her friend. Thousands of people come from all over to take place in this awesome race. It begins in Washington, crosses the Astoria-Megler bridge and ends on the waterfront in Astoria. It's a 10k and everyone is welcome. Run, walk, young, old. It's pretty cool.

Waiting to start.

We did it! These two ladies are 85 and 81. They're amazing.

I also had fun with this photo of my grandson and his friends at his birthday party. The above pic is just kind of so so...Indy got a new baseball bat, mitt and ball for his birthday and the boys couldn't wait to throw together a "game". They used our corn hole bags for bases..reminded us of farm boys playing a pick up game. They were having so much fun.

The photos below were edited with google photos ai create option.

With Joy Unquenchable,
