Tuesday 4....The Fourth
The 4th on Tuesday 4
It's time again for Tuesday 4 hosted by Anne from Cottage by the sea.
Published each week in memory of Toni Taddeo, it's original author. We keep Toni Taddeo's original idea alive here with 4 questions each week to get you blogging, visiting and learning about yourself and other bloggers. The more people join in, the merrier and the better it gets. We are always looking for topics, subjects and ideas so feel free to chime in if you have idea.
On July 4, 1776 we declared our independence from the British Empire and King George III when the First Continental Congress sst forth the Declaration of Independence. We became a free and sovereign, independent nation on September 3, 1783.
1. Will or have you decorated for the holiday? No, I had planned to go to Hobby Lobby and get a wreath for our door, but I don't think I'm going to have time this week. If you don't reside in the USA, do you have a special holiday you decorate for on the outside of your home?
2. What special little touches do you add to the outside of your home? If we're talking patriotic, I don't really do anything. Mostly because I just don't think about it. Do you enjoy puttering around in your yard? Yes, I do. I enjoy being out amongst my flowers and blueberries. Watering the hanging baskets. I don't have much in the way of landscaping or gardens but I do enjoy being outside. I seem to putter more inside though.
3. Are plants and shrubs an important part of your house decor? I have quite a few indoor plants. I'm guessing the word "decor" here is meaning inside or outside. I don't have any shrubs really. Like I mentioned above we don't have a lot of landscaping. We have a built up wall/planting area on one side of the house that I love, and hanging baskets, as well as some other planters filled with random things. I hope to someday have a more landscaped yards.
4. On which holidays do you spend time decorating either inside , outside or both? Mostly fall and Christmas, though Christmas trumps fall. I need to go to Hobby Lobby and get some more fall decor.

Beautiful photos! Wishing you a lovely day. smiles
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of your decor! I love it. My flowers have been waterlogged, so hoping they make it through. I didn't take any pictures because of that. Loved your answers! Have a Happy 4th of July!

I love your yard with all the tall trees! That is natures beautiful decor. I am always happy when I am around trees. I live in a city and through there are tree lined streets, it still isn't the same as the country and open spaces that are more rural. I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and they still had plenty of Patriotic wreaths. They are also putting out Christmas.
