Taking in Life Around Me.....#CFFC: Crayola Color Blue

I thought I would join in a new photo challenge now hosted by Dan from No Facilities, called the CFFC (Cees Fun Foto Challenge). Cee passed away and Dan has decided to carry on the challenge. I'm not sure if I'll get around to posting every week, and I'll probably try to find ways to join it with other posts, we'll see.

This weeks theme is the crayola color blue...what better photos to share than of my blueberries. These are from past photos since mine are just now ripening.

Of course as I was searching for "blue" photos I came across so many others, but I'll refrain myself. Maybe.

We have at least 10 blueberry bushes and I can get almost 12 gallon size bags a year, more if I got out there more often. For me going out and picking a big bowl of berries each night is relaxing and therapeutic. It's usually quiet and I just enjoy the moment of solitude.

The grandkids love going out and picking them with me.

A yummy, simple dinner I created for my hubby and I when we went on a trip to the San Juan Islands.

Berries on Charcuterie for a party!

And we can't forget backing with them. Scones, blueberry cream cheese bread and muffins!

With Joy Unquenchable,
Kirstin
