Taking in Life Around Me.....Sunday Stills: Pets
This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.
This weeks theme is "love your pets". We don't have any pets...well, unless you want to count the deer that frequent our yard and feel like they can help themselves to my flowers. I did have an Amazon driver ask me once if the deer in my front yard was a pet. I may have looked at him like he was crazy. I should have said it was dinner tonight.
So, since I don't have pets, I'll share my daughter's family's newest member. Meet Doug, a mini goldendoodle. He was the only white one in the litter. He has a patch of brown on his back, one ear, and the inside of the other ear. He's pretty cute. I think he favors the poodle side in his face. He also has more of a straight coat than the typical curly coat. He's pretty chill, which is great. When he gets tired of all the noise, he'll either go in his crate, or go in the laundry room and sleep. So funny.
Thought I'd throw a few in of the deer who seem to love our yard. The top one is a very brave mama who liked to jump up and nibble on the leaves of everything. She got a good earful from me.

What a cutie Doug is! 💖 You don't often see white doodles, so he definitely stands out. Having deer right in your yard must be interesting, but hopefully that Mama will stop munching on your plants!
