Are you ready for Autumn? You know, I think I am. I love summer, but I truly enjoy the changing of seasons. I've been "feeling" fall in the air for a few weeks.

Monday,  September 22 is the Autumnal Equinox, the first day of the Autumn season.

Autumn is the name of the season and fall is the term for the time of Autumn when leaves begin to fall from the trees.   Let's discuss it.....

1. Are there pumpkins or chrysanthemums on your porch or are you planning on putting some out?  I don't have anything out yet. I'd love to buy some mums from Costco, but I'm not sure if I will or not. I want to decorate and I pulled my fall decor down, but we are going out of town and I'm not sure I have time. I did tell my girls they were welcome to decorate if they wanted to. Here are some pics from my porch last year.

2. Are stores around you showing Autumn clothing and decor now? Autumn, Christmas, Halloween...all the things.   Here in New Jersey, leaves on some trees are changing slowly and temperatures are way down . What is it like in your neck of the woods? Leaves aren't quite changing yet in the southwest region of Washington but probably in a few weeks they will be.

3. Do you have plans for Thanksgiving yet? None set in stone, but they are usually the same each year with us going to my in-laws house, though last year we had it up here at our house.

4 . If we can arrange an autumn trip or get away for you, where will you choose to go and why? Well, two years ago my hubby and I went to the NE States for 10 days during peak seasons, and this year we are heading to Colorado for 13 days and hoping to hit some great fall colors. He's in Utah right now for work (meeting me in Colorado Wednesday), and the colors are so pretty.

With Joy Unquenchable,
Kirstin
