Taking in Life Around Me....#Sundaystills: Falls and Fountains
This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.
This week our theme is falls and fountains. I love waterfalls. There's just something therapeutic about falling water, the sound relaxing. I will seek out waterfalls whenever possible and if decently accessible. I have a pretty lengthy to do list since I'm leaving for a 2 week vacation in a few days so I'm just sharing photos with not many captions with them...sorry.
I stole this one from my daughter. She just got back from a trip to Italy and this was at the Trevi fountain.
A friend of mine found the above postcard in an antique store and knowing I grew up with Snoqualmie Falls in my "backyard", she sent it to me.
Below is my own photo from a few years ago.

Fabulous collections of falls and fountains, Kirstin! I would have love to see the captions, but you are Colorado-bound and I know how much work it is to get ready for a big trip! We were fairly close to Snoqualmie falls in August but ran out of time. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteFabulous collection of waterfall and fountain pics, Kirstin! 💖 I featured Trevi as well. 😎 Have a wonderful trip!
