Taking in Life Around Me........#Sundaystills #colorchallenge.......Shades of Orange, ochre, yellow...Bring on Fall

This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind LeisureIt's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.

This month is our monthly color challenge...since fall is just around the corner we're focusing on fall colors. I love fall and all the colors it brings. I truly believe every season has it's beauty and it's hard for me to pick a "favorite" because I love everything about each one.

I'm so excited for the Pumpkin Patch. I help at our local pumpkin patch each year and I really love it. Sometimes I'll get there a bit early so I can wander around before too many people come and before I have to get to work so I can take pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.
The next 5 photos are taken around one of my favorite lakes in Longview, Washington. I've share many photos of it for different themes. It is beautiful in all seasons. Now that my daughter and her family don't live there anymore, I haven't gone in several months.

Our backyard last fall with the sun through the trees, illuminating the yellow and orange leaves.

I LOVE driving up and down our hill in the fall. It is so beautiful and I enjoy watching it change daily.

Last fall, my hubby and I visited a part of Oregon that we really have never spent time in except to drive through going from one place to another. We were not disappointed. We visited Durant farms and enjoyed the grounds. The fall colors were definitely out.

I also found a few photos I hadn't shared from our trip to the NE States.

The first fall leaf I found last week in my driveway.

I spotted these rudbekia at a wedding I attended a few weeks ago.

Leaves from a gingko in downtown Portland.

A few more from our trip last fall in Oregon....above and below.

Carrots galore at a farmers market.

A few weeks ago when I was in Seabrook, Washington I spotted a few flowers that fit the theme.

Not to mention some doors and chairs!

This trailer at The Fox Mercantile in Florida was darling. I think they serve lemonade there.

That's it for me. I'm running on fumes so didn't feel like elaborating much. I'm lucky I even got a post in.

With Joy Unquenchable,
Kirstin

A beautiful collection of all things orange and yellow, Kirstin! Gorgeous autumn pics too! We also volunteer at the Fall Festival that runs each weekend in October. It's down the street from our house.
