Tuesday Four....Bon Voyage
It's time again for Tuesday 4 hosted by Anne from Cottage by the sea.
Published each week in memory of Toni Taddeo, it's original author. We keep Toni Taddeo's original idea alive here with 4 questions each week to get you blogging, visiting and learning about yourself and other bloggers. The more people join in, the merrier and the better it gets. We are always looking for topics, subjects and ideas so feel free to chime in if you have idea.
1. Where have you traveled and what is the furthest you've been from home? We have had the privilege to travel a lot more in the last several years than we ever have. We've taken a 10 day trip through the New England states (that was fun), visited Vancouver Island, Canada, the San Juan Islands, and the furthest I've gone is Italy and Switzerland (we did that trip in 2019). I've been able to go on a few trips with my hubby for work and I go every year to visit my aunts in Northern Ohio. This fall we are taking a trip to Colorado for about 2 weeks.
2. Is there a location other than where you are, that you think would be a nice place to live? I could honestly live in any of the NE States as long as it was in a rural area. I think I could live in Colorado too, but I haven't been there yet.
3. Do you have a photo or story from a favorite place to visit? hmmmm...this is a tough one. I think every place I've visited has a photo or story...I don't know if I can pinpoint one favorite place because they are all special. This one came to mind. Last April we went to Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Peninsula. We weren't quite sure what the weather would be like so we packed a bit of everything. On one day, we headed up to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Peninsula. Down below was nice and warm so I had shorts on...when we got to the top it was sooo cold, I threw on my winter coat. I told my husband I felt like I was in our cold plunge. My legs and face were so cold. But it was so fun and pretty.

4. What dream destination do you have tucked away in your heart? I would love to spend a month in Italy traveling to the areas that my family came from. Do you think you'll be able to visit them one day or are plans in the making? I'm not sure if I will or not.

Some people never get to travel. I think that's a shame because I love to travel, lol. I'm so glad you've had a chance to experience more of your country and of the world at large.
ReplyDeleteYou have traveled a lot! I did get to visit Colorado when I was a kid. I remember taking a train ride up a mountain. I think we went to Pikes Peak and the Royal Gorge. I am sure you will love. Cute picture of you with your jacket and shorts!
