Tuesday Four....All In a Day's Work
Off to Work We Go...
It's time again for Tuesday 4 hosted by Anne from Cottage by the sea.
Published each week in memory of Toni Taddeo, it's original author. We keep Toni Taddeo's original idea alive here with 4 questions each week to get you blogging, visiting and learning about yourself and other bloggers. The more people join in, the merrier and the better it gets. We are always looking for topics, subjects and ideas so feel free to chime in if you have idea.
This week we go back 5 years to ask again about work....
This week is about work.
2. How did you learn to do your job? I was trained by the owner (SIL's aunt) and a few other gals, and then it was just doing it on a consistent basis to get better at it.
3. You are now in charge of your town's public relations committee.. Tell us why we need to move to your town. If you like a small town feel with plenty of amenities, yet close to I-5 and within 20-30 minutes of the next big city, then Woodland, Washington is the place to go. The town is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts with lakes and rivers close by that are excellent for camping and boating. It's a town where people remember who you are. Our yearly celebration brings the community together for fireworks, a parade, bed races and more. Need to commute? No worries, we are easy access to freeways and Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon, both which offer great recreational activities. You'll find you don't need to leave town to grocery shop or find good restaurants. Need coffee, we have several fantastic spots.

1. Describe the best job you ever had why was it good? (if it was awful, tell us about that instead) I would honestly say that my current job is the best one. I love who I work with, it's close to home, I like the variety and the interaction with customers. I work for a postal annex, called The Letterbox. I work for my son in laws aunt. We do notaries, packing and shipping, have almost 300 personal mailbox customers so putting out their mail, etc..LOTS of variety...of course, I'd still love to stay home. I only work 3 days a week which is nice.
I also really enjoyed doing virtual assisting, which I'm not doing at the moment. I'd like to pick it up again in some capacity because it's a nice way to make money while being home.

4. It's lunch time! Build your perfect sandwich for us.. what's in it and on it and what's in our cups? Well, if I'm making the sandwich it's probably going to be pretty simple. Maybe an chicken salad sandwich with lettuce. I also love a salami sandwich with cheese, mayo, brown mustard and pickle. If we're ordering from our favorite corner store, we're ordering a grilled roast beef with garlic aoli and pepper jelly.
