Taking in Life Around Me.....#SundayStills
This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.
I'm late to the party this week. I debated even participating, but here I am! Flowers bring me joy. Whether a bouquet or seeing flowers while out and about. I don't have many growing in my yard right now, but I do have some beautiful daffodils. If you asked me if I wanted a bouquet of roses or a mixed bunch, I choose mixed every time. I love roses, but they're not my favorite bouquet choice.
I haven't gotten out much with my camera so let's see if I can find on my phone. I did take a few photos of the daffodils in my yard the other day. They are just so pretty!
My daughter had a bouquet a few weeks ago and as the flowers died, we pulled out these little ones..they're on the end of their life but still pretty.
Another set of flowers she received for her birthday. I played with a little photo editing on them. I love the flower combos.
From our front yard...I have an area off our driveway that doesn't have much in it but I have managed to get some daffodils to bloom.
Last October we visited Hood River and I enjoyed some flower patches. The ones above were behind our favorite antique stop where I like to browse and my hubby likes to get ice cream.
Our local tulip fields are no more. It's sad...they were so pretty, but they've since sold the land. This was last year..I headed out early in the morning to catch the sunrise.
A dear friend brought me these flowers when we had her and her husband over for dinner....I must say, it was one of my favorites I've received. Put together by a local gal who has a flower farm.
Kirstin

Your floral bouquets are so beautiful, Kirstin! We are well behind you in the daffodil bloom timeline. Their so pretty. Love all the sunflowers. Looks like a couple of Teddy Bears in the one image and I adore the images of the sunflowers framing the mountain backdrop! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers with the mountain were at a winery that we happened upon and a huge field of sunflowers.
DeleteI love taking photos of flowers. I have been editing my photo archive and realized I take too many that no one would be interested in.
