Taking in Life Around Me......Color Challenge: White

This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind LeisureIt's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.

This weeks theme is a color challenge and that color is white. Sure wish we had some snow.

Dough! Can we just appreciate beautiful, yeasty (white) dough. This was for our cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning.

I have several ornaments that are white, but this one was made by a friend of mine and sent to me with a Christmas card...I love it.

In December we went to the Washington coast, to a new favorite community, Seabrook. I had hoped to catch the king tides really raging, but along this stretch there aren't any jetty's that they can "break" over, however, they were larger than normal and while the water was dirty, the waves were white.

Had some fun searching out anything white I could find while we were in Seabrook.

At Christmas, the town is decked out in white Christmas lights. Many of the houses, especially the ones around the town hall have lights and the entire main street (below) is lit up. It was dreamy...it would have been perfect if we had snow.

The home we stayed in had this beautiful bowl with glass sea floats along with lighted balls, that were stunning.

I always love a morning fog on our hill, especially when the light hits just right!

Mist and waves at the beach in Neskowin, Oregon. Oh, and seagulls.

Foam on beverages....so tasty!!

White flowers and waves in Hawaii.

I love your array of whites, Kirstin! And yeah, where is our snow?? Seabrook looks like a cute town. Great shots of the coffee and king tide. The foggy street scene is my fave.

  3. Nice and yummy whites. I adore the holiday light photos and your coffee captures. Like Terry, my favorite was the foggy street with that glowing light.
