Tuesday Four....Bath Time

Bath Time

It's time again for Tuesday 4 hosted by Anne from Cottage by the sea. Published each week in memory of Toni Taddeo, it's original author. We keep Toni Taddeo's original idea alive here with 4 questions each week to get you blogging, visiting and  learning about yourself and other bloggers.   The more people join in, the merrier and the better it gets. We are always looking for topics, subjects and ideas so feel free to chime in if you have idea.

There is something lovely about a nice hot bath on a  cold autumn night after a busy day isn't there?
Growing up our home had an old claw foot tub and I loved to fill it to the brim and sit there until my toes were like prunes.

Can we discuss the secrets of the bath?

1.Do you take baths or showers? I do both. Is there a reason you prefer one to the other? I love relaxing in the bath at the end of the day. I'll do a shower when I'm actually "dirty" after working outside, etc..or when I need to wash my hair.

2. Once a day shower or bath or do you have a different schedule? I take a bath every night and a shower when I need to wash my hair, or if I get in our cold plunge tub in the morning, I'll jump in the shower to wash off and warm up.

3. What are your favorite soap and shampoo? I use locally made soap, and I haven't found a super fave shampoo. I use Arbonne shampoo right now, but often try to find something that is also organic or has decent ingredients. Our skin is our biggest organ so it's important what we put on it.

4.  Back in the day many loved Jean Nate spray after a bath.  My mom enjoyed Avon's Skin so Soft.. what do you like in the way of skin creams, oils or sprays? I use Arbonne skincare products. They are picky about their ingredients and use European standards in what is allowed in their products. If I don't use that, I try to find products that are very clean.

  1. Using clean products in important. I have heard of Arbonne before. I can't use products that have a fragrance. I wish I could take a bath everyday.

  2. I enjoyed reading your answers Kirstin. As the times have changed so have I. There are so many dangerous ingredients in various products so I agree it's important to try and go as clean as one can. I'll have to investigate Arbonne. It sounds familiar.

  3. I have enjoyed Arbonne in the past. Good brand. I don't really hear much about it anymore. Loved your answers! Have a nice week. <3
