Taking in Life Around Me.....#SundayStills Theme: Oddballs, Wild and Weird
This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.
This weeks theme are things that are weird, odd or wild. I'm not sure what I can find, but I'll try. I thought this theme was last month or the month before and I think I had taken a few pics but then might have deleted them when the theme changed. Maybe I didn't.
I missed participating last week, I just couldn't seem to make it happen, which was a bummer because I LOVE fall/autumn. Maybe I'll throw a few pics in at the end. We'll see. It's not quite fall looking in my neck of the woods yet, so I'd have to hit the archives, and then I'm always trying to make sure I don't re-share the same photos.

I know this could be used at the end of October, but I passed it yesterday on my walk and thought it fit the theme. Never saw skeleton chickens before..haha.
It's interesting when you visit different beaches the things you see. Some are filled with shells, driftwood, etc..this one had a lot of sea kelp and jellyfish. This one was huge...Weird looking for sure.
I'm sure there are some people who think the Gnome Trail in Seabrook, Wa is a bit weird or oddball. We love it.
Haha...now this definitely fits weird, maybe even oddball. Saw this car in Seabrook, parked on the road. I don't know if those were stuck on there or not...I didn't check.
When I travel to different places, I like to try some things that are "local" to those areas, so when we were in Hawaii (Oahu), I tried a few different fruits, Ramubutan and Longon, and also Lau Lau (below)...not bad...kind of weird, but not bad...haha!
I spotted these at an antique store and thought they were "odd"..Not my cup of tea, but I'm guessing someone would like them.

I'm not sure why I have to use my credentials each time I read your post, Kristin, and your comment with the link went to spam. Erg---oddball indeed!
ReplyDeleteLove your odd and weird pics this week. That little dinosaur head is funny, how random! I had a friend that filled her dashboard with little ducks, like the one you shared. Funny stuff!
I'm doing leaves and trees next week, so your autumn pics will be perfect. FYI, you may have your own standard for posting your images, but I reuse mine a LOT. If I didn't I'd be upgrading my WP media file to something I'm not sure I can afford. You would be surprised how many readers don't remember every image you share, so please feel free to share repeats if they fit the theme. Enjoy your week!
