Taking in Life Around Me.....#Sundaystills: Theme: Color Challenge.....Green
This #sundaystills challenge is hosted by Terri from Second Wind Leisure. It's a great themed photography challenge that you'll enjoy. I love seeing the other participants interpretation of the theme each week...it causes me to think outside the box. I joined in hopes of it pushing me to get out and take more photos...I have to some degree, but I also like that Terri is okay with us finding photos in our archives, which is also a lot of fun. So check out my photos and then head over to Terri's page to participate or visit other's posts. There are some awesome contributors who always inspire me.
This weeks theme is our monthly color challenge and this month it's green.
Sunday morning I was heading to my daughters house to hang with my grandson for a bit and as I was driving down one of the streets, I spied these lights above a door. I, of course had to go grab a picture.
I spied green while Indy was playing with some blocks.
Driving back to our house I told him to keep his eyes open for thing that were green (other than trees and grass). We both spotted this in nearby Kalama.
I spied this sign at the edge of the water so we pulled off, so I could grab a quick pic.
Geckos Geckos everywhere when we were in Hawaii. Even a few in the house we stayed at. Yikes. This one was outside on a railing in a little shopping area.
If you ever visit the Columbia River Gorge, you must visit the Vista House at Crowne Point. It's beautiful. The stained glass above and below is stunning.
Murals at the Alo Moana mall in Honolulu definitely sported some pretty greens.
After a tiring hike, we stopped to get smoothies at Lanikai Juice. Mine was green, to match the decor.
The lush green of Hawaiis landscape captivated me for sure. Photos just don't do it justice. The above photo is one I took while at the botanical gardens. This particular botanical garden had sections dedicated to different regions of the world.
I spotted these pretty green glassware in a vintage shop. So pretty. I kind of wish I would have bought them.

You shared quite the variety of all things green, Kirstin! I love that you found random green items that pop up out of nowhere and you stop for the photo op! 😀 You can't miss with the green Hawaii pics. Yes, those geckos are everywhere, I liked seeing them , they eat all the bugs. Hope DST is treating you well!
