Putting Pen to Keyboard.....#WQ...Theme: Oder/Arranged
It's another week of Wednesday Quotes, hosted by Marsha from Always Write. If you're interested in joining, you can find more about #WQ here.
This weeks theme is surrounding order and arrangement...order and arrangement of what? Well, I suppose that depends on one's interpretation. Which is always the beauty of words that have multiple meanings or multiple ways they could be interpreted. I enjoyed looking for some quotes that jumped out at me.
Do you like order? Do you enjoy arranging things? My answer to both is yes, to some degree!
What a great thought...it continued in a post I found here, that said "...arrange whatever pieces come our way into something meaningful, no matter how ordinary. So that individual, random pieces may someday take up a form, unique to one's life and one's story. That was so good!
Oh, yes! We all. need this, no matter what time of day it is. We need moments of quiet!
I chuckled at this because I never jumped on the Marie Kondo bandwagon and then recently saw how she supposedly was embracing less order now that she had kids...however, I do believe it is important to have our homes in order..whatever order means to you. From the contents in our homes to the "atmosphere" in our homes. For me, it's not a spotless home, but it is also not filled with chaos. It's also about the atmosphere I want my home to generate
Oh, this is so hard to do sometimes, but such a great thing to put into practice don't you think?

I am very much an in order and arranged kind of person. Clutter, inside my head or my house, pushes my head around into spots it doesn't like. LOL to Marie Kondo -- it's way harder with kids! Love the format of your quotes and how they are all the same colour, font and format. Lovely looking post. Bernie
ReplyDeleteI am too. For the most part. I've definitely learned when my grandkids are here, I lower my expectations.
DeleteI love the quote by Francis Fe Nelan about putting our thoughts in order. We know people who think their job is to blurt out what ever is on their mind at the moment. How tiring that is. I am learning to control my tongue and put some order to my words, if not my thoughts. I'm not sure that even with the Lord's help I will get them lassoed under control. I long to have the kind of good taste he describes. :) Have a great week, Kirstin.
ReplyDeleteI loved that one too marsha. It is so fun hunting for good quotes.
