This challenge is hosted by Terrie from Second Wind Leisure. Here is where to find her current post. I've also been loving visiting the blogs of the other participants and being inspired by their interpretations of the theme.
This weeks theme is a color challenge, and the color is "burlywood". I'll be honest, I had no idea what that color was. But Terri probably knew that because she said in parenthesis, (think khakis, light shade of brown). Thanks Terri. I love how she explains how she chooses the colors.
I wasn't sure what I could come up with for this challenge, but I think I did pretty good.
This mushroom popped up in our yard a year or so ago and it definitely has the burlywood color.
Sourdough bread anyone!!!
I love when the thistles turn brown. Almost more than when they're purple.
I had another photo of leaves I was looking for but I'm kind of feeling blah today so just grabbed the first one I saw.
One of our new wall colors kind of has a light Khaki color to it, it's called Tapestry Beige.
These rocks in Ladder Canyon in Palm Desert area definitely fit the color theme.
When we were in Switzerland, these ceilings and the wall design in one of the castles we visited were fascinating.
