Taking in Life Around Me........ #SundayStills.......Respect the Cat

This weeks theme for #SundayStills is "respect the cat".  I'm so glad I found this challenge by Terrie from Second Wind Leisure. This week is being hosted by Marsha from Marsha Ingrae Always Writes.  I've also been loving visiting the blogs of the other participants and being inspired by their interpretations of the theme.

I have a cat, but he's an outside, kind of a barn cat. Does his own thing....lol. But his name is Blitz and when he wants to be, he's pretty cool. I found some older photos because he sometimes could care less to be photographed and he kind of does his own thing. Plus I don't always have my camera ready.

Little Blitz sitting in my Christmas display!
When my daughter still lived at home she had a lab....the cat and the lab were buddies...if we would take Benelli (dog) for a walk down our road, Blitz (cat) would come too....so funny!
This cat has a fascination with my containers.....there are plenty of places he can sleep but he always chooses the containers that I plant my seeds in. Even when I put netting over the top.

So I gave him his own basket (below) filled with dirt! Haha!

Always curious....and when he wants to, he'll hang out where you are...but otherwise, leave him alone...ha!

More photos of the cat and dog....they were hilarious. I would just laugh at the positions I'd find them sleeping in.

Some of the photos weren't great because I'm out of town so I had to screenshot a few, but they were too cute to leave out. Can't wait to see everyone else's photos.

With Joy Unquenchable,
Kirstin

  1. Aw, these are some really sweet photos of your cat. I love that first image; looks like it came right out of a wall calendar!

  2. Oh my gosh, these are so darling. I love how you caught him in so many different poses. I love the first one especially and the falling out of his beds ones. I love the way he curls his front paws. So cute! He may be a barn cat, but he clearly loves to come inside and rest up for his adventures. :)
