The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY... from Kirstin's Daybook
Outside my window... The sky is blue and it's not raining!!
I am thinking... about how much fun we had with friends last night, and about how I can't wait to hear how my youngest daughter enjoyed her trip to the Great Wolf Lodge
I am thankful for... wonderful friends and a Papa who loves me sooo much.
I am wearing... shorts and a t-shirt (yes I live in the NW but I'm inside today)
I am remembering...our trip to Florida and how much I love my family.
I am going... to be helping lead a "Loving Our Kids on Purpose" cell group at our church...I can't wait.
I am currently reading...The Heavenly Host Series, "The Testings of Devotion" by Cheryl Dellasega
I am hoping... that I will find a diamond in the rough...I'm on the search for a full size SUV!
On my mind... How much my daughters are growing into such amazing young women, and how much my Papa God wants me to walk in my full identity.
Noticing that...I really need to get out and see if my dahlia's survived since I was lazy and it hasn't been dry enough to dig them up.
Pondering these words...

"Your liberty is a call to live in a higher place of honor for the sake of those around you. I am free to choose not to live however I want to live"...Scott Schang..(my pastor)

From the kitchen... I'm going to try to make some homemade bread with some leftover oatmeal, and I think we'll have stirfry for dinner tonight.
Around the house...Just relaxing today. I need to do some laundry and light pickup, but this is a game and movie kind of day!
One of my favorite things~ enjoying our new Settlers Of Catan game with my family and friends.
From my picture journal...
I love how my girls love each other.....
With Joy UNquenchable,

Sounds like you are having a relaxing day.

I will hope with you for a full size SUV. I'm sure you will find your diamond in the rough.

Have I told you I am enjoying your blog?

  2. Thank you Christina: For the picture compliment...we had fun that day, for enjoying my blog...(I've actually gone back and been enjoying some past posts), and for being in agreement with me to find my diamond in the rough.
