Book Review: The Noticer

I recently signed up to review books for Thomas Nelson Publishing on my blog. I can tell you I'm very excited. The first book I am reviewing is called "The Noticer" by Andy Andrews. The setting for this story (a Narrative) takes place in a small town. The narrator Andy weaves a beautiful story of an old man who in a sense "invades" the lives of those he comes in contact with and they are never the same again. To say that I loved this book would be an understatement. It was a wonderful read. Pros: It is not a long book and therefore very quick reading. It is a book that is "simple" to understand and so "real" to the issues that many people today face. One can read it and be drawn into the things each character is facing, maybe even seeing themselves in the lives of those portrayed. As I read it I thought often of how there is no issue or problem that is beyond redemption if we simply have the right "perspective". It stirred me to want to be one who looks "deeper" into the hearts of people and to be a person who can help them see a "new" perspective. There are also study questions at the end of the book that would be useful for deeper study. Cons: I honestly could not find any cons with the book. The Noticer is a book I would highly recommend to anyone. With Joy UNquenchable,
