Kitchen Tip Tuesday: Soy Vay Teriyaki marinade

I was really torn as to what to share this morning. But ultimately this won out.
My hubby is not a huge fan of teriyaki sauce (I on the other hand love it!). However, he does love this brand. Soy Vay's Veri Veri Teriyaki!!
Head over to Tammy's Recipes for more great recipes and kitchen tips.
This sauce has a great flavor and for a Teriyaki sauce, there is not a lot of other nasty preservatives. Here is their ingredients list:
All natural ingredients: Preservative free soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt), sugar, expeller pressed soy oil, fresh garlic, sesame seeds, dried onion, fresh ginger, garlic granules, expeller pressed sesame oil, onion powder, ginger powder.
Their website is great. It shows all their products, has recipes and is just a fun site. The product was created by a Chinese girl and a Jewish boy, thus the name Soy Vay
I find the best way to marinate things is in a large ziploc bag. I can simply flip the bag upside down to spread the marinade around. Apparently according to Alton Brown of Food Network, if you boil your marinade you can re-use it. Not sure I'll try that though. I marinated our chicken for about an hour and it was perfect
Heat some extra sauce up in a bowl to top your chicken or your rice. This would also be good on any meat, even salmon.
I baked mine in the oven, but love it grilled (my grill isn't working at the moment).
With Joy UNquenchable,
