Sunriver Scenery

The last few mornings I've been getting glimpses of the sunrise and decided this morning that I was going to venture out at 7:00 to try and catch the sunrise. Yesterday hubby told me that the water feature at the main entrance was frozen with water cascading around it. Definitely needed a picture of that. I realized when I got to the roundabout that I was going to need to take this picture quick since there was no place to park. So this was a very quickly taken picture. I hope to maybe get a better one later this week. I headed to the nature center, figuring this would be the best area to take pictures of the sunrise. I went a little ways past it where I had a better view. Keep in mind I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when I'm taking most pictures...I seriously need to learn. But these didn't turn out too bad. It was soo beautiful.  As I turned around from taking these pictures, I saw a rainbow. We've had no rain, but there it was, very faint but still a rainbow. It was so pretty. It didn't show up real clear in the photo I took, so I didn't include it. I've been playing around with creating frames this morning on my photoshop elements. I love Pioneer Womans photo tutorials and one of her guests was sharing how to create frames.
For some reason, the pictures are not turning out with the color being as bright as they are on my computer, so you're not really getting the full beauty of the sunrise...hmmm...must play with that.

  1. I think the cookies would work w/out it....it really just adds a 'crunch'.

If you try it w/out, let me know how they turn out!
