Simple Woman's Daybook~December 8th
This Monday we are in Sunriver, Oregon on vacation. I'm so glad to be joining you!
FOR TODAY December 8th......
Outside my window... The temperature reads 20 degrees and there is a light dusting of snow.
I am thinking... I love going on vacation with my family
I am thankful for...the fact that I am a daughter of God and therefore royalty.
From the learning rooms...no formal learning this week...just learning to have fun!
From the kitchen...Making breakfast of hashbrowns and pancakes
I am wearing...jeans a long sleeve shirt and black short sleeve top.
I am creating...memories with friends and family.
I am going...to go shopping in Bend, Oregon today
I am reading...The Shack
I am hoping...for some snow this year.
I am hearing...the laughter of children
Around the house...kids are playing and cleaning the kitchen after breakfast
One of my favorite things...taking pictures
A few plans for the rest of the week:just playing games and having fun with friends and family.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...this is part of my Christmas decor on my front porch. I'll share a full picture later.
With Joy UNquenchable,
I love taking pictures' too

ReplyDeleteKirstin,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the carnival! It is fun to read each others thoughts about our days.
I loved your banner and blog title.
Just curious to know why you are reading The Shack & what are your thoughts about it?

ReplyDeleteHey sandy,
ReplyDeleteEverytime I come here am reminded how much I love it! The weather has been amazing (though Kaitlynn was really hoping for snow). I hope to get some pictures of the sunrise and sunsets while we're here. we took a beautiful walk two days ago to the river. Yesterday went to the Old Mill District. Today we're heading back there to get ears pierced and go to dinner for my birthday!! The big 4-0!!
So glad you're doing the daybook too :) Loved reading yours.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful blog. Your pictures are beautiful. Welcome to the daybook. I am fairly new also. I would also like to know why you are reading The Shack? I would love to see you critique it. I love snow. We seldom get a good snow here in AR. Have a wonderful Christmas, Doylene
