Pampered Chef Party Pics

What a fun night we had at my Pampered Chef party. A house full of ladies talking and laughing, eating yummy food and spending money. What more could you ask for? There were probably about 15 or so ladies in attendance and I loved hearing noise throughout the house. As they came in I gave tours since the majority had never been to our house.
Then we gathered around the table for the interactive show. Pampered Chef now does their shows where the guests all use the tools and make the food. I love this idea. We made the Bread Bowl Artichoke Dip. It was cooked right in the bread bowl...how cool is that!!
BREAD BOWL ARTICHOKE DIP
2-16oz. sourdough bread rounds (or 1 round and one loaf of french or sourdough bread)
cooking spray
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. milk
1 can (14oz.) artichoke hearts in water, drained
1 (1.4 oz.) pkg.  vegetable soup mix
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 lemon
1 container (8oz) sour cream
Grated "fresh" Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 450. Slice off top of one bread round to create a lid. Carefully remove center of bread round to form a 4 1/2 inch wide and 2 inch deep well for dip. Place on a baking sheet (or pampered chefs large round stone...I want this). Cut up remaining bread round and extra bread into cubes, place around first bread round.
Whisk cream cheese until smooth. Add milk and whisk. Chop artichokes and add to mixture along with soup mix and garlic. Mix and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until hot. Put in 2 Tbs. of lemon juice. Pour into bread bowl. Grate fresh cheese over the top of dip and even the bread cubes. Bake 13-15 minutes or until bread cubes and top of dip are golden brown.
This was so yummy. I love artichoke dip and this one goes on the favorite list. Even those who are not huge fans of artichokes will like it. It's not too rich or too "strong".
Oh, these pictures are backwards but oh, well. I let the girls take pictures, so this is what you get. All the ladies gathered around listening to the shpeel and having a blast. I love my consultant...she's a crack up! I love her apron too. I received a free Pampered Chef Calendar with really yummy recipes in it! A few of the ladies are giving their catalogs to their hubbies with their "Christmas lists" on them...good idea!! I really need to get some things hung on the walls.
Interactive cooking and demoing of the PC tools. I love their stuff. My wish list is huge so hopefully my party closes huge!!! I now have room to store larger items so I'm ready to get them.
You can't see them very well, but to the write are their little prep bowls. My consultant buys them  for her children's teachers. She fills them with candies, or nuts puts the lids on and ties them with ribbon. What a cute idea!
The ladies stayed and visited, ate all the yummy food I made and left happy campers. Two guests brought housewarming gifts. One, a Christmas cactus and the other a bottle of Sparkling Cider. How sweet.
I have about three posts for today, hopefully I'll get them all in! We also start babysitting my niece for the first time here at our house today so hopefully that goes well. So I better go get dressed!

I like that yellowish wall. I enlarged the pic and saw how the paint is swirled. Lovely!
