Merry Christmas

Here's wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas from our family to yours. This past year of blogging has been so much fun for me. I've loved getting to know many new friends, and whether we ever meet in person or not doesn't matter because our friendship is there and I believe will continue.
We had a fun Christmas Eve, and guess what? It's snowing again. There has been a mixture of snow and rain and that has made the roads slippery, which has made driving a bit more difficult. We recieved another 3 inches of snow last night.
This morning Nan and I made Peanut Butter Fudge. Then we spent some time cleaning the house before leaving to go play cards for a few hours with some friends of ours. They are Romanian and she made a wonderful dessert. I'm not sure what it was called, but oh was it good. We played two card games, "baseball" and hand and foot. I won at hand and foot! Then it was back home where I started on the clam chowder, which turned out amazing! I doubled the recipe for 9 people and barely have 2 cups left. Then we played the wii, some cards and everyone went home.
Our girls actually went to grandmas to spend the night. Last year, for whatever reason, (oh, because we were going to be going there anyways for cinnamon rolls and all their presents were there).... they wanted to stay the night with grandma and grandpa and they stayed up late watching Christmas movies...now I think they want it to be a tradition because off they went. We'll pick them up in the morning and bring them home to eat cinnamon rolls and open our presents before everyone else heads up here for more gift opening and a meal of chicken cordon bleu, potatoes, salad, broccoli and whatever else I've forgotten. My BIL made a bunch of yummy desserts.
Blessings to you and your families. I can't wait to hear of everyones days.
With Joy UNquenchable,
