Recipe: Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients:Pie crust for 9" or 10" pie pan2 c. chopped, cooked chicken1 small bag frozen mixed veggies2 potatoes, peeled and cubedchopped onion (amount to your liking)3 Tbs. flour3 Tbs. butter, melted1/4 tsp. pepper1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. thyme3/4 c. chicken broth3/4 c. whipping creamInstructions: Preheat oven to 3501. In saucepan add mixed veggies and potatoes. Cook till just tender.2. In another saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and stir 1 minute.3. Add seasonings, broth and whipping cream. Cook till thickened.4. Add chicken, and veggies.5. Pour into pie crust. Top with remaining crust and cut vent holes in top.6. Cook on 350 till crust is browned, approximately 20-30 minutes. Let set 10 minutes before serving.
