Rainy Day

Well it's a rainy Northwest day today. Actually it's been a rainy week. And honestly rainy weeks and PMS don't go that great together. I want to eat more, be lazy and I feel blah. Probably because I want to eat more and be lazy. I'm ready for the rain to stop and summer to begin. We are heading to central Oregon next weekend, so I'm hoping for some nice weather.
The only thing I don't feel blah about is my nails. My nails aren't very long. I try to grow them and they do at times get long and look nice. But, they are very hard and so they break very easy. And if one or two break, I just cut them all. The other day Nan and I were sitting doing our nails and I did a simple french manicure on mine. I really like how they turned out. I don't really even paint my nails unless they're long except for a clear polish. This french manicure made them look more feminine and actually longer than they really are. (I'd post a pic but I'm using dial up and it's too slow).
Today the girls and I made macaroni salad, and chicken salad. Yummy! We're now getting ready to take a tuna casserole out of the oven. It's a comfort food kind of day! Nan set up a small tent in the living room that she plans to sleep in tonight. (We're house/dog sitting for my In-laws). They did school and we've just been.....lazy! Then it's off to the church for worship and Kat has dance practice. She's trying to put together a dance for our gen. camp. They did one last year that was really good.
Next week I'll post lots of pictures. Tomorrow will be spent working at the property so I know I won't get around to posting or reading till Monday at the soonest. It's hard to read blogs with dial up too because some of them take so long..I know I have a lot of catching up to do.
With Joy UNquenchable,

  1. Yes, but rainy days and PMS give you the perfect excuse to be lazy and eat a lot! :)

  3. Yes this rain is getting so tiresome! I loved the sunshine in Boise this weekend. Thanks for the prayers for my dad. I really appreciate it.
