Menu Plan Monday
Last weeks menu went fine. It didn't quite pan out the way I had planned but that was okay. This weeks menu is planned out but could change depending on when I get to the grocery store.
I love having a menu that can be altered or changed as needed.
Monday: Elk Stroganoff, salad
Tuesday: Potatoe Soup
Wednesday: chicken potpie
Thursday: Homemade pizza
Friday: Minestrone soup
Saturday: Italian Noodle Soup
Sunday: Stirfry veggies
Thats the key to making these plans work-the ability to be flexible. I dont do menu plans and I explained a little about that in todays post but I can see how it helps other people so I have no problem with people making them. And yours is a good way to go; flexibility is key to all of life.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Darling,
ReplyDeleteI mainly use them because it saves me time during the day. I don't have to worry about figuring out what to make each day. This way I know what I have, what is planned for the day and if I want to adjust it I can. For me it totally simplifies things. As busy as we are in the evenings and afternoons this works well. I've really enjoyed your posts on simplifying life!
Hi Kirstin! I am looking forward to recipes. Tonights dinner sounds delicious! Please share. Have a wonderful week,

Elk stroganoff sounds so exotic! Is elk meat like venison? Do you hunt them?
ReplyDeleteYou can buy kangaroo steaks now in our supermarkets but they are farmed roos, not wild ones.

Hi Kate,
ReplyDeleteYes, Elk is like venison but much better tasting. They are larger then deer but their flavor is not as strong. Now, Kangaroo sounds exotic!!
Some stores will also sell Buffalo meat which is tasty.
WE don't hunt, but have friends who gladly share their bounty. For which I'm thankful. I grew up eating fish and wild game.
