Cooking Thursday: Super Bowl Food

I thought I'd do something a little different for Cooking Thursday. Since it's SuperBowl weekend, I thought I'd share the links to some of my past posts with recipes that I think would be great to share during the big game! Head over to Sandra's for more great recipes. 1. Caramel Corn....what a yummy thing to have set out on the coffee table. I usually make this at Christmas time, but I"m thinking this year I'll make some for Sunday's big game! 2. Chicken Enchiladas...it makes a lot and they are sooo good. 3. Cookies....these chocolate peanut butter ones are great, or how about these Chocolate Chip Cookies, 4. Hot Sausage and Beans...these can be made in the crockpot and are super delicious.. 5. Pulled BBQ Chicken Sammy's...with homemade sauce. I'm not sure what I'm making yet. We have church and then a soccer game at 1:00 that is 45 minutes away from home....it will have to be something that can be made ahead of time. With Joy UNquenchable,

  2. I have done the same thing - read someone's comment on another person's blog and then followed their link because of what they wrote! I feel better now about not affording pancetta - maybe I wouldn't like it anyway!

    Thanks for stopping by! :)

  5. Great idea. I don't have enough food posts to do a Superbowl post...wish I did. I ended up just buying a bunch of finger foods from Costco. Of all the things I thought of making, the men just wanted wings from a local pizzaria. We ended up w/ a ton of food though. Good to meet you. Thanks for stopping by, I'll follow you so I can remember to check out your blog more when I get some time. :)
