Kitchen Tip Tuesday: Healthy lifestyle links

I know so many of us are becoming more increasingly aware of developing healthier habits, especially when it comes to our eating. I know that we are not perfect but we are on the journey of continued learning. I love food. Eating it and cooking it. And I'm half Italian...hmmm, which certainly equates a passionate love for pasta, bread and olive oil!! When hubby suggested we eat less pasta and bread I had to pick up my jaw from the floor. Excuse me? But I agreed and now make it once in awhile. And when possible I use whole wheat pasta and make my bread from scratch or buy it carefully from the store. I'm about moderation! Also when shopping I spend time reading the ingredients and as often as possible avoid buying products with high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oil. It's a journey and I certainly couldn't do it without books, magazines and my favorite....websites. Anyways...this does say Healthy Lifestyle Links, so I'll get on with those. The American Heart Association: Links with tips and lots of recipes Prevention Magazine: I love this magazine and the website is great too. Healthy Tips for a Healthy lifestyle: Health tip blog with lots guessed! Small Step: Garden Of Life: Jordin Rubin Natural health magazine: I have enjoyed this magazine in the gym and am glad I found the website. What are some of your favorite sites? With Joy UNquenchable,

  1. Thanks for the links! Going to have to check them out! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! :)

  2. Well said. I Love, pasta and bread, I am NOT half Italian, but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Italian food, and my husband also asked not be served so much of it. So I came across this website several years ago- Marilyn has so many great recipes and just good information. Also check out the Nourishing gourmet blogspot.
    Lord Bless!
