Farmers Market

Today we took the girls to our local Farmers Market. I haven't been to it in years and was really looking forward to it. I wasn't disappointed. There were lots of vendors selling tons of produce, bakery items, fresh flowers and plants, Jewelry and so much more. The produce was a bit more than in the store, but that was to be expected, plus I'm sure some if not all was organic. I didn't buy any this time as I had already used my grocery money up. We wandered through the streets browsing and trying samples. Then we decided to grab something to eat and a nice patch of grass and eat lunch. It was relaxing and enjoyable. I hope to go back in a few weeks with the girls and spend more time. We wanted to get back to go work at the property.
Wandering the streets. The plant prices were very reasonable. I tucked that in my brain for when I'm ready to buy plants. Beautiful fresh cut flowers were everywhere.
It is just so fun seeing all the yummy and beautiful things for sale.
Watching one vendor make little donuts. Nan absolutely loves donuts!!!
Face painting....another thing she loves.
Kat got in on it. I'll post some pictures later of when we were in Disneyworld last year and Nan just had to keep getting her face painted.
We had to eat dessert! Funnel Cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Personally I like them with just powdered sugar, but this was good too.
