Works for Me Wednesday: Password organizer

It's another Works for Me Wednesday. hosted by Rocks in my Dryer. And there are lots of tips over there, go check it out.
I am forever forgetting my online User names and passwords, so I came up with this solution. I had a black small index card box that had alphabetized dividers. I took several index cards and on the top I'd place the website name and then below that I'd add my user name and password. Once all the needed info. was on the card, I'd place it behind the appropriate divider. It works perfect.

  1. Im terrible about this. I use the same password for everything and the same user name as much as possible! My husband keeps all his passwords in a little notebook.

I also use a yahoo mail folder. When the password is mailed to me I just save it in a folder labled passwords. When it comes in I click on it then click ot move it and there it is!

  2. I am also horrible about just using the same password. My kids on the other hand, use different ones and there are scraps of paper sitting around everywhere! I'm going to try your system and maybe even decorate it a bit with some scrapbooking paper!!! Thanks so much for the tip!
